The Cottage is set in a fairly large garden which is surrounded by dry stone walls, with a huge cartwheel bench to allow you to sit in the shade on a lovely sunny day. The Cottage has a mature garden at the front with an impressive display of Hydrangea in the summer along the drive.

The Cottage is situated only 3 miles from the Silent Valley, 7 miles from Newcastle and 1.5 miles from the sea, suitable for walker and sightseer alike.
